According to the latest market analysis conducted by App Annie, Google has surpassed Apple as the largest developer in the App Store, winning the first position of the virtual market both in January and in February. For Apple it is only the second position, although he still enjoys the largest gains.

Unlike Google, which offers only free applications, many of the app from Apple are paid, some at very high proportion of the average store. The most downloaded applications are Google Maps and YouTube, despite the efforts made by Apple with iOS 6 to drag their users to native services introduced with the latest release of operating system, results in the end not to the levels of the proposed Mountain View.

Nevertheless, the Play Store is not the same Google to dominate with Facebook occupying the top positions of the ranking. The only four applications of Zuckerberg have been discharged several times compared to the 62 Google that are located inside the main virtual store for Android. Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Instagram cover the first three positions of the "Top 5".
