Facebook is building its own messenger service continuously and treats the app more and more functions. In the U.S., the social network has introduced a few months ago, the ability to perform free calls on the application. Now the feature has been rolled out in Germany.
The new service can be used on Android and iOS. Calls can be made directly via the Facebook or Facebook Messenger App. This requires that you only call the relevant contact. Contact information (the "i" top right ") open and the 'Free Press Call" Then, a call will be made via the WLAN or the mobile Internet and displays the profile picture of the contact. In an initial self-test the quality was perfectly fine and may well be useful for international calls or rates without mobile PC.
