Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan: a new high-end graphics cards from the wonders area with up to 6GB of graphics memory

From Nvidia, we can imagine today the first details on the next generation of NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, which will probably appear under the name "GeForce GTX Titan" in the trade.

The new Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics card Titan will build on the K20 architecture, and Tesla will be equipped with at 2688 shader units, a 384-bit interface and up to 6GB of RAM. For the graphical calculations is one Kepler-based GPU (GK110) come into play and as a possible interfaces are 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort to be there. The port is expected to take place over a PCI Express 3.0 x16 interface on the motherboard.

As the current top model of the Nvidia GeForce GTX however is to have 690, it creates but with two cores to 3072 shader units and 4GB of graphics memory.

According to further information should among other manufacturers like Asus and EVGA offer their own models of the Titan series. The price is likely to be almost in the thousands.
