HTC One premiere in Cologne: Hands-On with first impressions and photos

Just last night I moved to Cologne, and more specifically as an Official Event of HTC, where the new HTC One smartphone has been introduced, which you should already know from the media and numerous articles ago.

The new HTC smartphone One is the new flagship of HTC and will be on display including at the Mobile World Congress 2013 from early next week. The launch will take place in March, at a price of 679 € (RRP), unless you want to have a contract to do so.

At yesterday's event, I could make a few first impressions of the HTC One smartphone. The case, which was this time made of aluminum, is easy to hold and feels generally fine to the touch, as. Most other smartphones with housings made of plastic or polycarbonate The case makes an impression of quality and design that stands apart from the aluminum with rounded corners, to convince white.

The second point I want to mention the display, which has been fitted with 4.7-inch size and a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display makes a really good impression. The colors are vivid and high brightness contribute to the visually pleasing background. For interaction in combination with the Jelly Bean Android operating system comes again the HTC Sense user interface for the course, which looks at first sight very clear and tidy. The interface also provides, among other things to different home screens, a simple outline of the icons and the new Blink-Feed feature that gets streamed to date information on the smartphone. The play takes place in the Windows Phone-like tile design.

Also I have looked at the 4-megapixel ultra-pixel camera which can produce the quality of her excellent photos. The camera offers but not only a high quality of the recordings of pictures and videos, but also different effects and modes. For example, there is a burst mode is available, which can record up to 20 images in about three seconds, so you can for example get the perfect picture out of a situation or you just created a photo collage of several images. In addition, other features are available in the camera, such as the cut out by intervening objects that you do not want to have his photo. Whether these are items such as cars or people now, does not matter.

Summary of Hands-On: The HTC One smartphone makes a quality impression, and alone is the basis of the technical features and the first impression is the one probably one of the smartphones in 2013. The right hardware, the display is great, and the new camera technology brings new possibilities for photos and videos with them. In addition, to convince the many functions that are possible with the Sense 5 UI, such as HTC Flashing Feed.

What I did not quite like so much is, again, the idea that has been fixed, the battery installed. If the battery is screwed up, you have to send the entire unit back, if one is still under warranty. Who has created the backup function does not fuse before the battery crash could lose its data.
