At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next to the ASUS has PadFone Infinity also presented an inexpensive 7-inch tablet. The so-called Fonepad is as the name suggests, a combination of tablet and smartphone, thus also offers a built-in 3G module and allows the phone.

The device has, as I said, this 7-inch display which has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z2420, which is not particularly powerful, but it very energy efficient. Otherwise has the Fonepad a working memory for up to one gigabyte and an 8 or 16 gigabytes of flash memory that can be expanded with a MicroSD card. A battery with 4270 mAh provides the necessary maturity and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSPA + for the appropriate connectivity. The housing is made of aluminum and is at 10.4 millimeters it was somewhat thicker. A camera with 3-megapixel camera on the back and a front camera for video calling is also included. The Fonepad also operates with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

In Germany, the Fonepad is expected to come back in March on the market and at a price of 219 euros will be available.
